Homewood Suites

Ingenium Enterprises worked closely with Peachtree Hotel Group and their consultant team on a 5-Story (100,235 SF) Homewood Suites Hotel located at 130 Central Avenue, across the street from the University of Louisville football stadium. This brownfield site required an enormous amount of coordination with the environmental consultant and owner as well as adherence to additional design regulations due to the soil contaminants. The onsite storm water pond was designed with an impermeable liner with the appropriate ballast to ensure any contaminated ground water would not be conveyed to the storm water system. The site design also included the parking area, site amenities, retaining wall, utility connections, and pedestrian access to the surrounding roadways. Ingenium also permitted the site through the City of Louisville and Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD). Construction of the store was completed in April of 2022.
