Moore’s Creek Crossing – 3 Hotels/Mixed Use Development

Ingenium was hired by the Peachtree Hotel Group to develop an 11.62-acre property into a large commercial and hospitality center. The focus of which would ultimately be 3 new hotels. Ingenium was tasked with developing the full design and leading the team in this endeavor. In order to achieve this goal, Ingenium worked closely with the owner and the City of Columbus to assist in procuring a $2.4-million grant from the United States Department of Commerce – Economic Development Administration for the construction of the necessary infrastructure to serve the hotel development. The specific services rendered for this project included a Feasibility Study, Traffic Impact Analysis, Hydrology and Flood Study, Comprehensive Roadway and Site Engineering Construction Plans, Construction Administration, and EDA Grant Management. The Design Plans also included a Traffic Signal Plan, Structural Bridge/Retaining Wall Plans, Utility Extension Plans, and Landscape/Irrigation Plans. The three hotels are currently in operation and performing extremely well.
