Project Engineer III

Ingenium is currently seeking to fill a Project Engineer III position in both our Tampa and Atlanta area offices. This role is ideal for a Civil Engineer with 5+ years of progressive relevant experience who will provide engineering expertise on projects of varying size and complexity. The ideal candidate has a fundamental knowledge Civil Engineering Design of Land Development projects and a demonstrated passion for being involved Civil design as it relates to the infrastructure within our community. The Project Engineer III is a critical role that provides innovative solutions to clients, documenting the design process and design decisions, prepares engineering documents and plans with the help of engineering staff, and may be considered Engineer of Record (EOR) of specific documents, plans or tasks.  Jurisdictional networking experience and excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential to the successful candidate as he/she will be challenged to provide excellent service to clients and deliver on prioritized time-sensitive tasks.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Preparation of engineering documents and construction plans autonomously and with a team that meet client expectations, industry standards, and jurisdictional requirements 
-Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and other CAD design software
-Ability to read and interpret construction plans, design standards, and client scope
-Ability to review designs for adherence to standards and develop mark-ups for supporting CAD staff
-Ability to perform data collection, data entry and analysis of data in the preparation of technical reports
-Ability to review design for adherence to expectations and standards
-Continuous monitoring of the quality of assignments, tasks, and project deliverables
-Willingness to provide assistance to Project Managers and Leadership as required for design solutions and other project goals

Required Education and Experience:
Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.  PE certification is required. Proficiency with AutoCad Civil 3D with hands-on project experience is a plus.
