Amazon Distribution Center 

Polk County, FL (Formerly Lakeland Dragstrip)

Traffic Impact Study was prepared for a 711,360 sf Amazon Distribution Center Facility in Polk County, Florida. The site is located on Florida State Road 33 just north of Interstate 4. As part of the Traffic Impact Study, we analyzed not only the peak hour impacts to road network but the effects of the Amazon specific logistic traffic patterns. Those patterns included when employees arrived and when delivery trucks departed and arrived from the facility. In addition, we had to take into account the committed traffic for other major developments in the area that was under construction at the time of the report.
